Class 11: Reflections and Solutions

This class session involves looking back on our course material and looking ahead to the roles you will play as graduates of the University of South Carolina School of Law.

The session is entirely yours to run; I am not assigning materials, structuring the class time, or moderating the discussion.

In planning (both individually and collectively) for a successful class session, consider:

  1. What does a successful class session mean for you? Think especially but not exclusively about outcomes and impacts.
  2. What do you need to do *during* this class session (including structure and timing) to achieve that success?
  3. What do you need to do *before* this class session (including research, reflection, and coordination) to achieve that success?

Class 12: Community Contributions

  1. By Monday, November 6, 2023 at 9pm eastern, share a one-page summary of your community contribution with your classmates and with me. Make sure your document (1) includes the names of all contributors, (2) addresses the legal and factual contexts for your contribution, and (3) provides a solid basis for in-class discussion.
  2. By the start of class, read all the summaries that were timely shared. As always, prepare "information, insights, ideas, or questions that can spark 30 minutes of discussion among our colleagues."
  3. Review the prompt for our previous class and be ready to continue this discussion.
